Been a Long Time!

I haven't updated this in forever, but I figured I would for the fun of it. (As if anyone reads it anymore!) We just moved in to our new place, it's great! We have *neighbors* with *kids*!!!!!!!! They just came over and introduced themselves. I am so so so so excited to be living in a REAL neighborhood! I will post pictures later this week, if I ever find my camera!

This marks the beginning of my foray into childrens' team sports. I can't say that I was excited about it. So far I have been able to survive the "soccer mom" mentality of the women I have to play nice with. One lady, sitting behind me, was snarking about how she wrote the rule book and that the little girl should have been out when a kid got the ball to first before her. Then she screams at her kid the whole time. Keep in mind these little kids are 5, and it's the first game. (Also, they don't keep score or really get anyone out for the entire season of t-ball) Oh how I wish I could say something. I am perfecting the nod and smile technique. Any tips for not catfighting with annoying soccer moms?

Here are the kids just before trick or treating. Grace found candy right away and managed to get chocolate on her costume. Charles decided by the evening that he wanted to be a Power Ranger with vampire make-up, and then he decided to finish the make-up job himself. More pictures on the Flickr site, go for it!

Just put up some new pictures, finally was able to get the pictures off of my camera and into the computer. :) There are couple of Charles' first day of school. I will be able to put up Halloween pictures on Tuesday, so keep your eyes peeled!

I know I haven't posted any pictures lately.... Unfortunately, I left the USB cable to my camera at my mom's, so until it comes in the mail, there will be none! I have plenty on the camera, so when I get that cable there will be kiddie-pics to view.
In other news: Charles starts Kindergarten on August 22. We will be shopping for new school shoes this week, along with a backpack and a lunchbox. I have been informed that it better be a Power Rangers lunchbox! We'll see... The baby is picking up new words every day. Today, she said Horsey and Chicken. (We were playing with the Little People farm) Other than that, Ryan and I are sunburnt to a crisp. I think I will pay more attention to the "reapply as necessary" instruction on the sunblock bottle next time. That's all for now!

Here's one of the kids, there are a few more on the Flickr site that Charles took of Grace. Kids are doing good, we are going to Santa Cruz this weekend to see Aunt Candice, Uncle Michael, Cousin Daniel, and of Course Meemaw Papal and Monica! (And Stanley.. I mean Tyler.. LOL)

Ok, I figured out how to post pictures, and even put up a Flickr badge, how cool am I? Now I will have to take more pictures so you all can see how terribly adorable my children are. Off to make Shrimp Pesto Pasta, (with mushrooms) Aren't you so jealous? That's what I thought.
